Ben Smith

Managing Director

My wife and I started ‘Ben Smith Associates’ in October 1995 as a result of what we believed to be failing standards in the greater part of the dealer based motor industry. It was our conviction that the blend of Yvonne’s contract hire and leasing experience and with my consummate knowledge of main dealer operations we could build a business to fill an increasing gap for a quality, reliable, service lead vehicle-sourcing consultancy. Yvonne is rarely in the office as she has a far more demanding job, housewife and mother to our children Connor, Guy and Brooke. When Ben’s not at work he enjoys spending time with Yvonne and the children and taking pleasure in ‘beach living’. He also practises, and instructs in the martial art of Kuk Sool Won since 1994.




	*Neil Russell* *General Manager* neil.russell@bsaauto.co.uk Neil started with BSA in 2001 and is vital to the operation, tasked with the overseeing all aspects of the business; he has an intelligent, friendly and direct sales manner and a passion for detail. Neil again brings yet more experience to the team having come from a local dealer group, managing the corporate division covering a number of franchises; he believes that he can now offer clients a greater level of services and solutions without the restrictive boundaries dictated by most main dealers. On a personal note, Neil is married to Tanya and is an enthusiastic father to their sons George and Oliver. He keeps fit through various hobbies including, football, running, cycling, squash and hill walking as well as being an experienced rock climber.

Paul Chaston

Administration Manager

Paul started work with BSA in January 1997 and performs an important role within the team. As ‘Administration Manager’ he is responsible for the progressing, updating and logistics of all orders from the initial placement through to delivery to the end user / client. In addition to his adminastrative duties Paul demonstrates a soft and tactile sales demeanour. Outside of work Paul enjoys watching television, good food and has been practising the martial art of Kuk Sool Won since 1996.

Shaun Howes

Accountant

Shaun started with BSA in 1999 and quickly recognized an opportunity, he has become essential, not only to BSA but to Ben and Yvonne’s other business interests. Shaun is on target to qualify as a ‘Chartered Accountant’ in the near future. He has compounded his value by taking the time to familiarize himself with each function performed by the rest of the team; this is on top of his main accounting responsibilities. Out of the office, he is a passionate footballer both playing and managing a local team. Out of the football season he enjoys playing cricket, both recreations, of course, lead to him enjoying the socializing!
